Long celebrated as one of the most requested holiday classics, this original arrangement of the Christmas Song pays homage to singer Mel Torme, who wrote the song in 1946. The setting of the song is in the format of a saxophone quintet (SATBBs) w/vocal soloist. The soloist may also be substituted by any melodic instrument. This selection was originally commissioned for, and recorded on, Del Bybee's "The San Diego Holiday Project, 2001"
